well, if i can actualy hold off, there is a local guy with some seats I'm very interested in, but he wont be back from germany untill after labor day... If I dont end up with them, kirkey or ultrashield will likely be the way to go.

I'm currently running custom RACETECH seats, but they are indeed pricey. However, an off-the-shelf, economical Kirkey 20" Aluminum seat they sell at most any race shop worked just fine for me from 1998-2006. In hindsight, I think it was a mistake to add the weight of the custom RACETECH seats, but since I ponied-up for a pair of RACETECH monsters a few years ago I have installed both of them in the "new" e30 "Vader".

XXR 522 Et 0 16x8, Khumo KU36 215/45/r16. Get your hammer ready. Yep they are still available and all over ebay at a great price and wide range of colours. Enjoy

before you run away scared, just ran these things up to 175km/h and then went around corners this weekend.

    I'm almost your exact size.... 6' - 6'1, 235-240lbs with a 36-38" waist...

I LOVE my Cobra Evolution S GT (wide) seat. I got it used off bimmerforums, and it fits PERFECT. I sat in a couple seats before purchasing, and with the high side bolsters, and excellent torso support, it was a perfect match. Has "open" head wings, so driving the car to/from the track isnt that bad either

The Cobra Suzuka GT is also an amazing seat, with slightly smaller side bolsters, and no head wings. Lower price point.

One thing I like about the ultrashield is they have good lower leg support where with a sparco or like you have that pad that always seems to come loose in driver changes. If you get in a bind let me know, I may consider selling my passenger seat, just not sure about how to ship it and it may be more hassle than it is worth.
haha i'm not fat...i'm big boned! lol

Well, what size is your passenger seat? and how much would you sell for? Greyhound may ship it pretty cheap.

wow...i really didnt even look at that one since it didn't have an XL label, but it actually dimensionally seems to have more butt room than the supercup...

Anyone know how readily available Momo seats are? They barely list any on their site and some say they are out of production?
