    E30 autox-in-the-rain vid

Hahaha here's me being slow because it rained beforehand... and the surface was slick as hell... and my E30 was crazy sideways with the new swaybars:

I may put the rear swaybar back on the softer setting for next time ;)

Damn, that was a long course. Did they have a cherry-picker out there for filming? That's pretty sweet.

LOL... that's how we do it with NASA in the mid atlantic, big long FAST courses (woulda easily been into 3rd gear in the dry.) ;)

Actually they filmed from the top of the grandstands (at VMP we use the huge parking lot behind the big-time dragstrip.)

      Thanks-

      Jon

I went to an autocross Sunday and it was slick for my first few runs.

My rear shocks are leaking - my tires were shot - and I had more body roll than ever.

My first few runs in the rain were a BLAST. I slid around EVERY corner, even sliding back and forth in the slalom!

My last two runs were my best - I beat a 1998 328is in my class somehow, lol. My last run was my fastest - funny thing was, I had TWO people in the car with me!

        Definately fun times! :D
