Well, it rained. Big time! If you ever want to find out what you don't know about driving, try driving fast on a wet course. It is humbling. We got our butts kicked by the VW guys on Saturday.Well, okay I did. Evan managed a 4th and I was 6th. There were a few glitches with the timing lights getting wet and we had a ton of drivers. The last run group was still going at 8 p.m. The head honchos didn't leave until 9:30 Sat. night. They set up Sunday's course before calling it a day. Sunday was just as wet with a few hail showers added to the fun. The course was unbelievably fun. It flowed well and required a bit of thinking so as not to get lost. I managed a 3rd place in OSPU and Evan got 4th. Pretty good considering our fastest runs were in a spray of rooster tails! OSPU is a tough class of 14 good drivers. Thankfully we got through around 6 p.m. soaked to the bone but happy. Ted had some fun. I'll let him tell it. It was very sad to see my old 323i on Saturday. Mot found a tree to bounce off and crushed a quarter. Hopefully it will come back better than ever. That was one straight car. Man, I hope we get a dry autocross next time. M50s have too much torque for the wet.

Although I was there for about 12 hours on Saturday, I was happy I got to run in the afternoon. The track was completely dry during all four of my runs. Actually everyone's 4th run was a bit 'wet' due to the Fiat that decided to dump about 3 quarts of oil on his 3rd run. I was somewhat happy with the 59 I ran during my last run on Saturday though.
David, you were right about the GT3 driving like a grandmaOriginally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

You were lucky. I never got one dry run all weekend. That Porsche makes the most beautiful sound! I would give my left one for just one lap in that beast in the dry! I guarantee you wouldn't mistake me for your grandma driving it!1988 Alpine white M3

yeah the weather sucked big time. I didn't run that well in the rain AT ALL - but the new tires hopefully will help that, and i NEED koni's. Anyway, i managed to have some serious spinnage. Evan was in the car with me - it was so frustrating because i had just run what i was pretty sure was my fastest time of the day just before and the timing system failed! F! so i went out again and it was a sketchy run from the start - and i pushed it way too hard in a downpoor and managed to get the back end in fron :).. fortunately i didn't hit the curb - now i need to get ready for the next auto-x and the upcomming track day...PNW Crew

I didn't expect to see anyone from EESCC on here.
I don't know if any of you know me other than Even. I run a dark purple Acura Integra in DSP. Soon to be an E30 with an M50.
I was too busy to make the autocross. :|Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
