Gouging of rotors by pads is usually caused by a hard compound not softening enough from a lack of heat.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

HT10 pads require a manly bed-in procedure. Meaning they will shudder during your first track session. Don't worry. Brake hard and lay an even transfer layer. Also, you may drive a whole year on the street, they still won't be bedded in until you track them...Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
