    SCCA racing and SSF

I figured I would give some of you other racers on here the new SSF (which stands for static stability factor) rules the SCCA is employing to prevent cars the feel are prone to rolllover. Unfortunately one of the worst offenders of the SSF perameters is the E30 BMW and other BMW's up to 1994 (don't worry VW was tagged hard as well).

I have personally been racing my E30 for years and never been close to a rollover, but I have seen pics of others that have. One car I have seen rollover recently was a newer MINI Cooper S which actually went airborne at an event.

I just figured I would give some of you a heads up on what may be a potential fun breaker the next year if the tech inspectors and other SSS start enforcing it on the national level.
