Didn't see a thread on this and don't know if you guys heard but this weekend at lincoln financial field (in south philly) there's a charity Autox event sponsored by the Philadelphia Regional chapter of the SCCA on Sunday, October 11th. I personally have never autocrossed but I've wanted to for the longest time. There's a limit of 180 cars at the event and there's a novice class for people like me who've never done it before, plus a car show adjacent to the course.
I'll post the the link for anyone interested. So far I can't find any of my car buddys who are available to go to the event. It's $40 if you're an SCCA member to register, and $50 for a weekend SCCA membership. You have to be there to register at 8am on. All proceeds go towards a good cause, the fight against breast cancer.
Who wants to go to this?
