track day mania....

did an adss (advanced driving skills school) last sunday, had a blast.

AutoX tomorrow, and a 2 day SCDA driving school at watkins glen monday and tuesday, im getting excited. Any tips on anything? Just did fresh brakes, rear wheel bearing and axle, new wipers, hopefully ill get an allignment in by sunday, so car is feeling fresh, other than that, any suggestions on anything? thanks guys.

dont know, but BPG is closing up shop, 4 of us are driving monday and tuesday, SCDA, watkins glen.

ooooooh I thought this DE was up here at NHIS.
That makes sense, OLoA is at NHIS on Monday.

WGI is a fast track. Take it easy, dont get caught up in maximizing speed or late braking (if its your first day, you'll be braking uber early even if you think you're late braking.)

Dont be afraid to give the point bys.
Again, take it easy, learn the ropes, learn the track, comunication with your instructor is key.

Your out there to learn, have fun, and become a better driver. Just remember, you are NOT M. Schumacher, or JPM.... drive within YOUR COMFORTABLE limits, not the limits everyone else is driving in.
