i didnt like that i cant use my foot brake and the hydro ebrake at the same time. just extra strain i dont want lol
well why the hell not?! strain on what because the only time you'll be doing that is drifting while trying to shave some speed or about to loose your state of oversteer as you're also braking THEN tap that ebrake as you let that clutch out and GO.
i don't see it used in any other way
p.s. when he says he needs 10 people he means atleast 10 to pay for his engineering time... he wouldn't mind 50 people on his first go around.
No more e30s for me.

I need 10 persons to make the project feasable. Which we reached. Then the list is opened until November 6 th. By November 6th I will count how many units I need to make. I won't produce 50 sets if only 15 are called for. The persons on the list will get a better pricing. Then whatever is left (most likely only a couple of units) will be up for grab at 50% extra. Then they are gone. If people want some after hearing that it actually works great, then I will require at least 10 orders, and they will be at full price.
Things are heading this way. Design has slightly evolved since this mock-up was done. It is a modular design that can be adapted to 318Ti, Z3 and M3 trailing arms. Drift cars only. Requires the removal of the original handbrake mechanism.

So they will fit the e30M3 setup? If so then add me to the list.

The main plate will fit all trailing arms. But the adapter between this plate and the caliper are specific. Therefore, I will concentrate on the 4-lug kit for now. Remember that the e30 M3 rear discs are 280mm while they are 256mm for the common 325i. But being modular, it is not much more work to do specific applications down the road.

Yes I know about the difference in size between 325/M3 thats why
I asked if it would fit.
Well put me on the list anyway and if you don't end up designing the
m3 specific part, I'll get one made by a local shop. Getting the main
plate from you should be cheaper in the end anyway.

oii.. i was saying that i'm sure you don't mind selling 50 on your first go around.
interesting design for sure.

@ Charley. Until the product is actually available for sale, there might changes. Minor or major ones. I don't want to be caught up in one design just to be able to fit M3s. Therefore, I will continue to develop the kit toward the 4-lug crowd. The M3 kit might be totally different. I will develop perhaps 20 different versions before picking the best solution.

Ok cool thanks I'll be watching for updates on this design/developement
it was in an NA FC3S.. had a proportioning valve or some shit run inline before the T fitting for the hydro ebrake. i hated how it felt as i was used to having to weight transfer, brake/clutch/ebrake dump clutch for a transition from a high speed right to a near 90* left..
so it was like a last minute transition or my angle line would be too shallow to
Prototype-for-fitment units have been received and installed. The units were produced only to confirm the proper positionning for the bolts (they were tip-top), and the proper fitment for the caliper (which should be done during the week when I receive them).
The final product will be one-piece, not flat with spacers as with this prototype. Reservations are open for a few more days, or until I get the calipers and do the test fit. At that point, I will stop taking reservations and will ask for payment. If you have reserved a spot and change your mind or don't pay, then your position is not transferable. Whatever parts will be left-overs will be available at 50% extra. As was stated, intro price of adapters-only (including fasteners) will be $100-$150.
