Half the point of a cage is to tie your strut tops together to make the car stiffer... but yeah, it does need to be reinforced a bit.

I'm not entirely sure, but if anyone saw Savanna Rickli's yellow mini run the pikes peak hill climb (youngest driver ever at the age of 16), Grant built that car.
