never said that, i just thought it was funny. obviously i know what was going on. the main point of the post was not about passing cars, it was about stating what an amazing feeling being on the track is, lets leave it at that.

Dan, nice line through most of the track. I'm surprised the instructors let you wave to the driver's being passed. At the Genesee Valley Chapter club, they will black flag you if they see you waving to other drivers. Something to do with car control. A tip for the heel going into the off-camber turn 9, if you stay in 3rd gear, you will have better momentum through the end of the track. Trust me.

I'll be going to The Glen this weekend coming up for a HPDE with the GVC. How's the new portions of the track? They did lots of work this winter, and I'm curious to see if it's improved the driving experience at all there. This will be my 10th school at The Glen (about 20 days here), and my 16th over all. It is addictive isn't it? MY favorite track. Summit Point is nice too, but The Glen has it all.

i was in third gear coming into turn 9, then into 4th before 10, slightly lift off the throttle for a second, no brakes, turn in about half a car length late, and apex about half a car length late, worked GREAT! i then finally learned to keep it in 4th coming into the straight, 3rd was too short in that section.

The new portions are awesome, they paved the gravel traps, and extended out the tire walls, they changed the bus stop a little too, its all very nice, you wont be dissapointed. im addicted for sure, i've been to NHIS, limerock and the glen, the glen has been my favorite for sure. Im registered for Tremblant in august though, so we'll see which one i like better
