and what was a kid in high school doing with a new s4? i thought my high school was spoiled
Some dumb bitch at my local high used to roll up in her dads Aston. Parking lot accidents where at like 1/hr there. Whoops just fucked up the mommys cayenne or the range, oh well she wont notice for another 3-months
The current S4 pushes like a pig hunting for truffles. And he's go an old one, which will be worse.
Are you sure about that? The Bi-turbo was a V6 and much lighter than the current car, the current S4 is in e90 terriotory. The Bi-turbos sit a little lighter than an e46 if im not mistaken. Straight out of the box there very good cars, not stunning but good.
With some decent suspenion work they can really bend in the corners.
it's called retarded parents who'd rather throw money at kids than actually care about their well being (you know, be parents)..
try my high school where i just graduated, sophomore with brand new 135i modded (R.I.P.), junior girl with a e93 m3 (who had the rapper e40 at her sweet 16), another 135i (he has had 3 cars in high school: r32 then wrx then 135i), and like 6 more m3's and i think 3 s4's.

ehhh some people just have life easy I guess.
working builds character though ;) or at least thats what I tell myself...
B5 s4 3694 lbs
E90 M3 3483 lbs press release had luggage and driver calc in.
E46 m3 is around 3390 lbs or so
lol ok
B5 s4 is from just under 3400 (2000 sedan 6mt) to 3700 ('02 wagon auto).
E9x m3 is from 3700 for the coupe to over 4100 for the vert.
E46 m3 is from just over 3400 for the coupe to just under 3800 for the vert.
The Audi clearly is not in the same league handling wise but acceleration and traction wise a simple stage 3 b5 would put a whuppin' on either of them.
My Stage II S4 (~350bhp) with an Ohlins suspension, but full interior/factory weight, could keep up with and pass many lighter sport coupes on the local (Colorado) tracks, including nimbler E36/E46 M3s, Cayman S and street 911s. The fastest street legal car I've been in was a B5 S4 with a local indy built motor and Tial turbos. It was sick! Other than poor folks trying to overextend the pathetic stock K03 turbos, I've found the B5 S4s to be very robust. One reason they are in the shop so much (other than for blown K03s) is that guys keep upgrading to bigger turbos! I will admit however, that I'm happy to pull an e30 or 944 motor, but the B5 S4 heads to my buddy's shop whenever I'm messing with the motor. That's why I got an e30 -- a far simpler car I can mess with at home, yet still will be plenty of fun on the track and street.
The C5 RS6 is also quicker than most sports cars with a simple ECU tune, although a bit heavy for the track in street kit. When the RS6s were racing a few years ago, in race spec they were easily besting all comers in SPEED World Challenge GT including lighter and newer 911s, M3s, CTS-V, etc
And of course the 19080's Sport Quatto was no slouch ;)
