    Removing front dust shields

Is there value in removing dust shield BUT leaving the inner part that covers the ABS ring and sensor? I've trimmed back up to that inner part and it still seems like it would allow more air to the disc, but I'm just wondering what others have done.

If I have to remove it for any kind of bracket to hold air ducts to the caliper, the question might be answered as I intend to do that someday. :)

    Thanks....

The brake duct adapters bolt to the spindle using the fasteners for the backing plates, so take the entire backing plate off and install ducts. Just taking the backing plates off helps a little with cooling, but you need way more air on the rotors on a track car.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

... and you keep radiant heat from bouncing back one one face of the disc.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
