    DSP mods and parts locations.

Post all information that is relevent to DSP including suppliers of parts and wheel

DSP requires use of 4 lug, so post any and all wheels, including the ones needing spacers with source. (sizes 15*8 thru 17*12)

DSP allows flares so post sources.

Feel free to post setups, tricks, and any thing else that would help bear the scubies and e36's

I think this post is for the wrong crowd. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

As for wheels, 4 lug wheels don't go much wider than 7.5" unless you start including custom 3 piece wheels.

We ran Ronal 15x7.5 LS with 225/45-15 Kumhos. The best thing you can do in DSP is get some seat time. You need to be confident in your driving and be able to drive the car at 9/10s consistently. Oh, yeah and have fun.

DSP setup# Alex's Bimmer is setup as follows:
        # Koni Yellow single adjustable
        # Ground Control Coilover Spring kit, 500 lb/inch front, 650lb/inch rear
        # Ground Control Camber/Caster plates
        # Ireland Engineering rear shock tower brace
        # Sparco front strut brace
        # Ireland Engineering anti-roll bars
        # Ireland Engineering urethane bushings (subframe, trailing arms)
        # Offset control arm bushings (M3 geometry)
        # Ground Control rear upper shock mounts
        # 4.10 Final Drive with Quaife differential
        # Stainless steel braided brake hoses
        # ATE Powerdisk brake rotors
        # Hawk HP+ front brake pads
        # Metalmaster rear pads
        # 16x8.5 Kosei K1, 17mm offset, rolled fenders
        # 245/45/16 Hoosiers
        # TMS/JC chip
        # UUC short shifter
        # Corbeau Forza Seats
        # Schroth Rallye 4 Harness Belts

        Extra notes from Alex:
I no longer have 4.10 with Quaife. I've got stock 3.73 with clutch pack with 271kmiles on it in the car right now. Quiafe, race tires, and turns don't go well together on a BMW.
Got some other mods since then: RD headers mated to custom 2.5 inch SS 301 single pipe with Magnaflow muffler; big bore throttle body, Brock B1 16x9 with 245/45 A3SO4(these things are heavy!)
I have my shocks on full stiff in the front and full soft in rear

That shit above is all wrong by the way.

          Here's a set of 16x8 on vwvortex:

          15x8 by same guy

16x8.5 is available from tirerack. Bunch of 16x9 are on tunershop.com. Once you sell your kids and wife then there's CCW, Kodiak, Work wheels and some others that'll set you back 2k and more..
