    Spec e30 alignment specs

Hey guys... not looking for an intellectual property lawsuit, but was hoping for some guidance...

I built my e30 to spec e30 rules, minus the rollcage... Going to attempt to adjust the alignment over the weekend using an alignment kit (with the strings and the whole 9).

Im going to be driving the car to DEs for a few months.. with that in mind Im hoping to max out the neg camber in the front (-3 to -3.5 degrees) but to keep the toe at 0.

The car has Bilstein sports with H&R race springs and GC Camber plates.. AKG 75d bushings all around.. offset front FCABS, and non eccentric AKG rear trailing arm bushings.. Also, not running any spring pads at the moment..

-Should I max out the caster in the front?

    - Since I dont have the eccentric RTABS, Im under the impression that I can't adjust rear camber and toe.. What kind of camber and toe setting can / should I expect in the rear? Im concerned with this because it looks as if there is alot more toe-in on the drivers side rear and Im wondering if my trailing arm and or subframe is bent..

Thanks in advance for any advice / info you're willing to share..

I recommend to do your race alignment, full negative camber (perches almost touching) and about 1/16 toe out.

On the street, kick the camber towards positive, and the toe will go in to positive for transit/street use.

I say no. If you add too much caster, the bumpsteer will get worse, and hurt more than it helps. I believe that the caster you have from the offset bushings is plenty.

Just as long as it somewhat even, don't worry for now. However, you do not want either side to be toed out.

Our setups are identical. You will understeer w/out the rtabs.
Can't wait to spend the money on GC coils w. most spring and of course rtabs or rear sub bushings would be even better and the plan.

        thanks for the feedback fellas.

I did AKG 75D RTABS and subframe bushings.. just decided on the regular RTABS, not the eccentric ones.
