Some of the local guys have had great results running electric waterpumps.

I would say have a fan running on a thermoswitch, since you will have those times of long idling, then to go full bore, pull off, and not allow adequate time and risk high tendency of heat soak. solid mounts do make things easier to feel out. Be mindful of breaking welded spider gears if you are running high grip tires (faklen 615s, etc....)
    whats heat soak again?
fan check, hooked to a finger switch check, (I prefer to be in control of the fan, just a preference)
    big norther radiator check,
    solid motor mounts..... nope

Condoms break quite often. Only use one two or three times before getting a new one.

Get an electric fan, going sideways doesnt promote much airflow through the rad.

just post up what has broken with yours and why
If you're running an M20, the rocker arms tend to snap if you keep bouncing up against the rev limiter all day. You can buy stronger rocker arms (including billet aluminum) from a few sources.

With the exception of the M3, E30 wheel bearings are extremely weak and tend to wear out very quickly under track use.

Engine and tranny mounts also tear very frequently. Just swap in some urethane mounts from AKG.

Besides that, it's the usual wear and tear that takes place when you're beating up on a 20-year-old car.

If your gonna be running a welded diff make sure you re-torque your axle bolts on the diff often. Mine has come lose twice and the whole axle popped off once. Ive heard some guys saying to swap to e36 bolts because they are self locking, but i haven't looked in to that yet.

nothing as long as you dont put it into a wall.

after a few runs i pull it into the pit area just to check the tightness of the bolts for my suspension and brakes since i am often going through it playing with my settings.
