Got the seat fixed, and replaced the rear pads. This was the same layout as yesterday but reverse grid.
It was hotter, and we went down to 26/27psi and discovered more grip. Yay!
Lots of cars DNF'ed today, so we got a total of about 10 runs due to re-runs in our favor. Tires were hot now and we were getting faster. Ended up being faster than saturday, and I was 0.2 seconds away from my co-driver. My forth run was my best, as I kept kissing cones on the previous runs.
We got MURDERED by a modded SM evo on KW coils, about 300whp on 10" wide wheels with 285/295 v710s :(
We ran a 55.1 and he got into 53 something, but we did beat the last year's SM champ in the e36m3 so I guess we did good. :D
Z4M was not in our class, and was about 5 seconds behind, e46m3 supercharged moved to another class, also 5+ seconds behind. There were no other E30s to compare our times with, but I saw one of our runs was faster than the Modded yellow datsun turbo race car, so not too bad.
