I'm posting a video I made of my weekend racing in the Crow Mountain Hillclimb in Scottsboro, AL. This was my second hillclimb to race in this season. First was in Robbinsville, NC. Anyways, the stretch of road is 1.85 miles with a 720ft vertical ascent. It features 7 hairpin turns, and a fairly long 1/2 mi "high speed" sweeping left hander. Top speed I reached was about 85 mph. Some of the faster guys were getting close to triple digits, or so they say. Both me and my brother drove the car over the two days and she held up great!! I finished 10th overall out of 28. My brother finished 11th, just 0.2 seconds behind me. It was an absolute blast and I look forward to doing a couple more next year. Hope you enjoy the video!

This is done with the Southeast Division (SEDiv) of SCCA. It is run under the Time Trials heading. But they differentiate the two, one being "flat track" (ie, Barber, Road Atl, and other race tracks) and the other being "hillclimbs" (ie, Crow Mtn).
Here is info from nat'l SCCA http://www.scca.com/clubracing/content.cfm?cid=44465
If you want more info let me know and I can get you more specifics. The SCCA is terrible when trying to find info about rules, regs, etc.Mark K

Took another look, saw the gopros.
You can also deinfately tell when a gopro is being used vs a flip.
GoPro is much more steady.
And if you were local I would consider letting you use it. Unfortunately, you are not.
