    Running with the Vettes

I had amazing weekend running a NCCC Corvette Autocross. High speed fun. Total of 27 runs in two days. My 325e was running/handling perfectly. My times were equal to the lower third of the Vette's overall times. Not bad for a slightly modded eta motor.

Very nice. That seems like a very fast course. Good run.

That's one heck of an autoX course. What do you have done to your car? Sounded like you have r-comps.

Its part of an old airport. Its coming apart, dangerous, but I like the challenge of driving it fast.

            M3 CAB's

            Bilsteins
All Powerflex bushings in the back
eBay rear shock beam, stout shock mounts
            New rotors all around
            SS lines
            Hawk AutoX pads
            Toyo R888's 205/50/14's

            All new engine sensors
            Dinan chip
            UUC shift assembly parts throughout
            3.73 LSD
            Good tune
Rear muffler replaced with straight through

            Cipher racing seats and
            Sparco copy, 4-point harness
35mm Momo copy, steering wheel (I like it)
Most of the interior is in landfill, along with lots of sound deadening
            Sunroof cartridge deleted
            AC system gone
Car now weighs around 2,400 lbs with another 150 to go soon.

Big plans for winter 1.5 month off-season.

I did a Corvette Club autocross recently. Their courses are very straight compared to most other groups :) Makes for some fun!

You seemed to take that hairpin a LOT faster than most of those corvettes. Looks like a ball. Conrgrats.

love corvette club autocrosses; they're always a bit higher speed. I've never seen one that open before.
