All these cars seem overly done. Whats a car if you can't drive it on the street.
That being said...heres my "dream" of a race car.
E30 4 door
Paint / Body sprayed Laguna green
Rolled fenders
Tinted Windows, minimal stickers
Bolt in cage, still retain backseats
Whole collection of wheels for different setups
2JZGTE Single turbo with a GT35r88
Tomei Cams
Injectors
All belts, gaskets
Arp studs
Bee *r igniton cut
Aluminum Flywheel, Exedy clutch
Custom aluminum 1 peice driveshaft
Full 3in exhaust
GC coilovers, IE Sways
Full suede interior
I'd have the S42 motor (racing built m42 with 300hp N/A!!)
6speed out of euro m3
AST Coils
Larger wheel arches, widen arches for meaty tires
stripped interior
6 point roll cage
lightest 4x100 wheels i can find (that are still durable)
Wish this were possible but it would be way over 100k :/
Stack Instruments. ST200 - Perfect accuracy guaranteed for life. Suitable for all engines and ignition types. Fully water and dust proof. Features a maintenance free white LED backlight. Includes a comprehensive installation kit and manual.
They're still expensive, as most stack stuff is, but $325 seems pretty reasonable. Of course, you get a lot more functionality from their race dashes. I just love analog.
There's also this - http://www.stackltd.com/st700.html. I really want to save up for that. Would look awesome mounted center in the cluster. It's about half the price of the full digital dashes too.
Sorry but the flairs on the white DSP car are ugly as hell.
Dream build, tube chassis with full carbon wide body replica sporting an M5 V10 set WAAAY back and full on custom a-arm suspension.I drove a an old corolla race car with the engine set back and all controls set back to suit,a little funky at 1st sitting so far back but good enough to get me the canadian D-mod national solo 2 title.
-Seam welded chassis.
-Full pro built cage, ladder door bars and rear feet tied into rear strut towers.
-blink mirror.
-fully built 5.0(tt?), aim for 900hp 1000ft/lbs.
-Full aero; rear diffuser, canards, GT wing, flairs etc.
-built 6spd box, with gated shifter(no sequential crap here).
-full plexi with exception of front windshield.
-Nardi steering wheel w/ quick release.
-Digital dash
-15x10 and 15x11 SSR Lonchamps with chunky tires.

Oh damn! That's not very expensive for what it ST700 does, but it's not as cool and does not do as much as the digital stack and the line :/ Or is the $325 price for the ST200 - but that's just a tach?
This thread sucks! A bunch of guys dreaming of a car that really makes little sense.....be real if most won the lotto, why white knuckle all this stupid stuff just buy one made from TMS or something. Very un-R3v like thread. my $ 0.02. I had to vent !
