    Bluegrass/Hoosier DE @ Putnam Park, June 22-24

The Bluegrass Bimmers and Hoosier Chapter's of the BMW CCA would like you to join us for our annual Driving School Event at Putnam Park Roadcourse Mt Medrian IN. June 23-24 2012. The 1st annual Rites-O-June (There will be no Rites-o-Spring hosted by the Hoosier Chapter this year due to a 23% increase in track rental costs).

Students undergo a mixture of classroom and behind-the-wheel education under the supervision of trained instructors. The course of study includes vehicle dynamics, vehicle limits and limitations, driving line and track safety. Cars must undergo technical and safety inspections prior to coming to the event. Helmets are required (Snell 2005 or newer); a limited number of loaner helmets are available.

The cost for this event is $395 for both Saturday and Sunday. An early bird discount is available for registrations through May 10th for the reduced price of $350.

In an effort to expose more newcomers to the experience of tracking their cars we are also offering a first timer discount on the full weekend price, cost for first timers is $350.

Single day (Saturday or Sunday) registration is available for $250. Single day for 1st time students is only available for Saturday.

A Track Orientation Day is scheduled for Friday, June 22nd. It is available for all instructors and qualified students by invitation for an additional cost of $100 for instructors and $125 for students. Students interested in being considered for attending should check the appropriate box on the application form. We will contact you after evaluating your previous experience to inform you if you have been accepted.

Please be aware: Due to the success of our open passing with a point by sessions last year, all "A" group run sesssions will be run under the open passing with a point by rules!

Any questions, contact Bill Wade - Chief Instructor @ billw488@bellsouth.net

You can also PM me if you have any questions.

This is a great event - good amount of track time with nice small run groups. I'd LOVE to see more e30s there!!!!!!!

I'm really hoping to attend. This would be my first track event, but as of now I'm still sorting out tuning issues on my E30S50

Indeed Brandon, do it. You or Vaughn or Reggie or Aaron@NWFrame could sort most anything out by then, no problem. Putnam is a nice easy roadcourse too, and Bluegrass and Hoosier run good schools.

I must attend a wedding in Chicago that weekend which a lot of friends will be at, and think I'm sticking to carting this year. I might hang out Friday, but we'll see. (Eventually will get a M3 and track again)

Any suggestions on a place to stay? Anyone got a couch to crash on?

Since it's only 130 miles away, I may hit bed early Friday night and leave early Saturday...but would be a lot less tiring to go there Friday night.

Also, anyone want to split a garage? Not a big deal to me.

I just finished up MAM this weekend. Man, what a blast! My G-Force Sports are horribly pissed at me now though...haha. Considering getting some dedicated tires now, so I don't destroy street tires....hmmm
