    Listen to that whine!

    I know this is an old repost but geez. Imagine having to race this car for a full season!


    I would rather have my car sound like this. My god I love the sound of the Judd v8

      That's the sound of straight cut gears in the transmission, I'd be willing to bet the Judd car sounds the same from the cockpit.

        ^^yep, straight cut gears have less drivetrain loss but they are loud as shit as you can tell from the GTR vid. Helical gears are pretty much in every if not all street cars, they are much quiter than straight cut gears but have a greater drivetrain loss.

            Straight cuts are also quite a bit stronger.
