    Dam only 4:09pm here. Personally I would still go the GC your friends issues would be very rare. GAZ shocks are mostly in Euro and hard to come by in the US and AUS.

        If you fully understand everything you just posted about your 2002, then you're going to have no trouble figuring out what suits your needs for your e30.

        Disregard your friend's blown shock. GC is very reputable and he was probably running low and bottoming out.
        You do want coilovers because they are adjustable in height and rebound settings(if you get adjustable shocks paired). Also, you can swap and sell springs if a certain rate doesn't work for you. They usually come with camber plates if you purchase a full kit, like GC.

        Sways are up to you. Lots don't run a rear bar due to having enough spring.
        M3 style tabs up front will beef up your bar in a sense.

        Because of the trailing arm design and divorced spring/shock setup in the rear, you generally run a higher rear rate. GC says 500/700~ is the recommended track rate with supporting mods.

          so a higher spring rate works with the e30s, and thanks again for the help dude, i am still too lazy with the wheels, ha
