VIR HPDE May 25-27th - Anyone Going??

I'm signed up to go run at VIR at the end of the month. It's sponsored by the Cobra Mustang Club but I'm signed up through Track Club USA. Anyone in e30 land going? I will have our 86 e30 / M30 there. I have hired Mike Skeen for the weekend to "teach" me how to drive faster. Can't wait..

I'm sure after the first lap he will say there is no hope :)

Once he see's the car he will probably say no F'in way...

My goal is to walk down all of the mustangs on the track with my old e30..

LOL @ Mustang E30! I'm sure Skeen will be able to teach you a thing or 50 in an E30...or any car for that matter. I won't make it to this one since I was just there a couple weeks ago. I would have to get a divorce in order to make it.

Would seriously consider it, but we will be heading to daytona with our E30 with chump.

Last HPDE at VIR, we brought the big mercedes in full lemons livery, complete with the giraffe on the roof and had a blast. I cannot convey the joy of getting a point-by by someone driving their 911 turbo, priceless.

That MB is awesome.. I bet the other HPDE drivers had no idea what the heck you were doing.

One of our drivers is headed to Daytona w/Chumps as well. He is driving on the saab team with the 9-3 and 9-5. Feel free to give them a little push on the track...

Yeah - Skeen will be showing me a ton.. I just sent him a pic of the car last night - haven't heard back from him yet. He will probably be "sick" next week after seeing that.
