Been a bimmer guy for many years now...several E46, E36 and an E90. Having campaigned a 95 M3 race car for a while and sold it, I recently got the bug again for something to drive in anger regularly. Earlier this year I was offered a seat in a Lemons E30 and loved every second of it.
At an event at MSR Cresson early last month, a friend and I got to talking about it and I decided to jump into what was, at the time, an empty class, in the hopes of getting it started out here. So I hunted for, found and bought a car. In the meantime, another guy that lives here in Austin participated in his first Spec E30 race. More people will allegedly be joining. Fun stuff!
