    S52 C-Mod Track Car

We recently dropped an S52 into our club race car moving it into C-Mod.

The engine is pretty much stock with the exception of shorty headers and an aftermarket ECU.

We took the car out for some shake down laps at what was once MCAS El Toro.

This a video from our 2nd run in the afternoon.

What's done to the motor, and what rear end are you running? Looks like a 3.73 or so with a ZF.

The motor has an M50 intake, Tec3R ECU, shorty headers. There are plenty of street cars on this forum with more engine mods.

We run a ZF with a 3.65 rear.

those uprights on your wing, how are they mounted? to the trunk, or through to the chassis?

            Thanks

It's just IE Shorty headers with a 2 into 1 "Y" around where the drive shaft meets the trans. Then it's 3 inch all the way to the back with a straight thru muffler. The exhaust is all stainless.

The uprights were custom. We had designed them and had our machine shop cut them out for us. We powder coated them afterwards.

They mount straight thru the trunk to the floor of the trunk. We have side supports added at the level of the trunk lid to provide lateral support.

We can push the car from the uprights -- just one example of how solid the mounting is.
