Isnt this the same IE sells for $55?
I bought one from a bmw parts shop locally for $35 for my track car awhile back but , never installed yet.. They did have to order it from Germany and took 4 days..
Guess after 2 years it hard to get now?

Fuel starvation KILLED us in Chump. Of course we can't run a trick item like this, but I wonder if we could fabricate one out of an old ice tea bottle, some hair spray, chewing gum, and a peacock feather.Leave a comment:

I don't think it's a huge secret that this is a standard OEM VW part (google the part number). BUT, they do seem to be NLA from all the places I checked. I guess they weren't a really fast moving item so they've been phased out.
FWIW, they used to be available from many places for ~$25- hello supply and demand...

No, it does not work with a single pump setup.
Good to see Guten getting these from overseas, since the stock over here has dried up. I can see Carr Ind. decided to put their name on the diagram we wrote up.Last edited by SkiFree; 06-13-2012, 03:33 PM.Leave a comment:

My new early-model coupe came with one and it's awesome.
You can run the car to almost below "e" on the gas-gauge as well. This is helpful for right-hand turns especially, lefties aren't so bad, but rights will fuel starve the car from what I'm told.Leave a comment:
