The description says dual tanks - is that correct or should it be dual pumps?

My new early-model coupe came with one and it's awesome.

You can run the car to almost below "e" on the gas-gauge as well. This is helpful for right-hand turns especially, lefties aren't so bad, but rights will fuel starve the car from what I'm told.

Yup, worst feeling ever. Happens to me at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Lightning... I gotta get the 325i tank in my car to increase the range as well!

+1 on the above! Drove the Dragon in TN and was constantly having to stop due to this! Can it be done?

No, it does not work with a single pump setup.

Good to see Guten getting these from overseas, since the stock over here has dried up. I can see Carr Ind. decided to put their name on the diagram we wrote up.

I don't think it's a huge secret that this is a standard OEM VW part (google the part number). BUT, they do seem to be NLA from all the places I checked. I guess they weren't a really fast moving item so they've been phased out.

FWIW, they used to be available from many places for ~$25- hello supply and demand...

                              ;)
