Should suspension be setup any differently for a roval than for a standard road course?

Loaded side on the oval may need more ride height and more tire pressure, depending on speeds, how steep the banking is and how much of the oval you are running.Ben

1 turn. The corner that we run flat out isn't an issue, it's easy flat, wondering more about top speed. We spend a loooong time flat out.
I'm running thinner oil (5w40 Rotella syn) and put a new air filter in. Guess I'll just run my usual suspension setup /shrugLast edited by priapism; 07-12-2012, 09:10 PM.sigpic

The best setup for a roval is going to be a normal road course setup. A significant fraction of the lap time on a roval is in the twisty bits. So optimizing the the car for the part of the oval used penalizes the car in the twisty bits. As is usually the case, getting a little more speed through the corner that leads onto the oval is going to make the biggest difference. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
