25 Hour of Thunderhill Seats Available in E30 M3

    Hi Everyone,

For the past two years we’ve turning our E30 M3 into a competitive car in NASA GTS3 which has been a challenge. With our latest 2.5L and standalone engine management we have gotten close, particularly in endurance racing. We have the very good fuel economy and had the fastest E0 pit stop at our last enduro. We took us to 3rd place in our last 3 hour night enduro at Buttonwillow behind the two overall winners.

Our reliability has been our biggest strength, we’ve finished every enduro we have entered thanks mostly to the simplicity of the car.

Although it will be our first year, we have an experienced crew and the ability to put together a competitive E0 race. We have a great car, a great crew, and a great team. Three seats are available for rent for $3500. Having drivers commit early will allow me to get started on some of the tricks I have in mind and to get is the ideal S14 powerplant to run on.

Pictures of the car can be found here: http://www.langracing.com/lang-racin...nduro-in-june/

To discuss further or to join our team, experienced and funded drivers can contact me, Andrew Lang, at andrew@langracing or 949-667-1554

    Kindest Regards,

    Andrew Lang

Hey everyone, for whatever reason I didn't get thread notifications on this one so I found it months later. We didn't make it to the 25 not being able to find enough drivers. However the extra time we have is going to make it easy to prepare for doing it this winter (we hope). We're still looking for drivers so if you're interested please save my contact information, we'll be building an engine specifically for this race focusing on reliability and a flat torque curve to compete with the six cylinders. Our aero will be even more unique than it was last year.

We're looking for experienced drivers who can safely drive a fast car for hours on end. Overall lap times are not as critical as ability to take care of an engine using our sophisticated dash and warning light system as well as staying out of collisions and keeping the car on the track in what can be some pretty difficult to predict situations. Lap time has never been too important in enduro's, if you're witihin a couple seconds per lap it usually comes down to reliability and pit stop strategy.

This was our teams mantra for a long time, but lately, we have seen some really inequality in classing. For instance, unless you run PTE, you don't have much of a chance of taking top spot in E3..

That's why we may change our strategy next year..

Completely agree, I have a Porsche 944 I'd like to have some people drive in enduro's but I know they will never win with it in E3 or really any classes. There are some blazing fast PTE cars out there.

E0 is a bit of a different story, you're essentially competing with the fastest cars in the race. ES cars are just slightly faster than E0 cars.
