For an autocross this weekend, a friend gave me a set of Continental take-offs. They are 265/645/18s. They seemed to fit better on 9.5 inch M-parallels:
This was the first event for this car. I decided that the brakes need bleeding and I need stiffer springs. I had to raise the car a half an inch to keep the body from rolling into the tires.
I use the car for autocross only. I'm running 275s now without any problems. I don't think that 295s will be much worse in the front. I'm prepared to make any fender modifications necessary. I may use the Eurostop fenders. I have a set, but I would probably have to enlarge them as well.
Honestly this thread needs this quoted one more time.

Is this thing birthing cones? It's like the queen alien from Aliens.
Trust me, i can appreciate the big tire thing...I've got a set of 315s in the garage! Do not underestimate the world of difference between those small diameter 275s and 285+ 18". I've used both. Having said that, 285s do work well and wear much better than the 275s.
What class do you run in?
Crap man, Can I get a link to a build thread for this beast!! I love the stance. I'm a custom fabricator and I have been researching building similar flares as yours. If you'd be willing to share some more information I'd appreciate it!

What are you building the car for? Without some serious inner fender work, fitting anything more than 285s at the front of an E30 will be nearly impossible if you want to retain any kind of turning radius. 315s at the rear will be tough as well (no loss, they're too tall IMO).
