    s50 e30 auto-x vid

    This was the in-car view from my best run on Sunday. I won the class and wrapped up first for the season. I drove my s50 car the whole year because the M3 is down getting an engine swap. Looking forward to next year getting the m3 back and having the AST coilovers again.

      Watching this makes me want to do a rack swap even more before next season lol. Nice driving though, and congrats on first for the season!

              If this was the 3rd fastest bmw what were the 2 faster ones?

                  I'm putting a z3 rack in my M3, hope to make that a little better. My shoulders are always sore the day after autocross. 6 runs of that is a workout :)

                  BMWCCA so we have our own classes. I ran up one class because I was planning on having my M3 done and running this year. So I won E class in a D class car :D
                  Tires are 225/45 Hankook RS3's, and they are pretty much heat cycled out.

                  1st was a stripped down '97 M3, 2nd was an '04 M3, both running 2 classes higher than me. 26 BMW's there total, good showing for my e30.

                      That is pretty impressive. What suspension setup are you running? I'm hoping to do some local autocross if I ever finish my swap.

                              That car has IE stage 3 springs with bilstein sports. My M3 has AST4100 coilovers with Vorshlag camber plates.

                                      That car has G260 trans and 3.73 lsd stock to the car. M3 is getting s52, ZF and somewhere around a 3.25 lsd.
