The Bluegrass Bimmers and Hoosier Chapters of the BMW CCA would like you to join us for our annual Driving School Event. Students undergo a mixture of classroom and behind-the-wheel education under the supervision of trained instructors. The course of study includes vehicle dynamics, vehicle limits and limitations, driving line and track safety. Cars must undergo technical and safety inspections prior to coming to the event. Helmets are required (Snell 2005 or newer); a limited number of loaner helmets are available.
The cost for this event is $395 for both Saturday and Sunday. An early bird discount is available for registrations through May 10th for the reduced price of $350. Single day (Saturday or Sunday) registration is available for $250. Single day for 1st time students is only available for Saturday. Spaces are limited!
In an effort to expose more newcomers to the experience of tracking their cars we are also offering a "first timer" discount on the full weekend price, The cost for first timers is $350.
Putnam has installed garages at the facility, which be available to rent through the club. If you are interested in a garage, please email Bill Wade. His email is: bill.wade@gmail.com. 2012 attendees are being notified now and will get "1st right of refusal."
A Track Orientation Day is scheduled for Friday, June 21st. It is available for all instructors and qualified students, by invitation, for an additional cost of $100 for instructors and $125 for students. Previously signed off ‘A’ Students interested in being considered for attending should check the appropriate box on the application form. We will contact you after evaluating your previous experience to inform you if you have been accepted.
Please be aware: Due to the success of our open passing in prior years, all "A" group run sessions will be run under the open passing (with a point by rules of course).
This Driving Event is a non-timed, non-competitive school and it is not a race or practice for a race. You need to read and understand the coverage and exclusions of your specific auto insurance policy and be prepared to assume the risk of participating in this school.
The organizing chapters carries additional liability insurance for this event, but that insurance does not cover any damages that may happen to your car or the faciliaty . That is your responsibility.

The Headquarters Hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express in Cloverdale, IN. Rooms have been blocked out at the Holiday Inn Express under our club's name.
