hmmm. I didn't even look at that, I thought they had 5 lug too. Checkout apex wheels, Kosei and trm. Size them based on e46 fitment.

So the next question is why 5 lug? Tons of light wheels in 4x100 like those new MSR 229s. You could use the money saved towards better dampers.

the initial plan was to make a e30 m3 clone... I have fenders, bumpers, trunk, and rear window frame. Doing all that and not doing a 5 lug would be silly.... plus the five lug brake upgrade was performanced based. additionally my e36 based front suspension is 5 lugged.

I guess i could just go with the stock e30 running gear and not do the body mods, but if i did that standby for a giant garage sale of m3 body parts....lol

If you sell them I know a guy here locally that would snatch it all up.

If its going to be your baby then go for it. If all your going to use it for is to auto x then its seems like a waste. Some cheap flares would give you more tire room.

^^^that. and if you're going five lug why not go the e36M route and have proper caster and better stopping power. There are a few 16" that'll clear and still be light.

the concensus was that the non-M e36 brakes would provide enough stopping power for autocross and still allow for the use of 15" wheels. Tire selection for 16" rims is very limited.

Diamond Racing wheels are light, cheap and they will build any configuration. The pro series in 15x10" is only 18lbs.

I think they will custom drill anything from the blank. I could be wrong, but that is what I was told by a road racer...

Of course the thread "autocross wheels" now has me thinking of using 18" wheels. So many choices

Chevy bolt patern is 5x120 is it not? Cant imagine diamond wouldnt make a 5x120 if this is the case.

Technically the Chevy is 5x4.75" (5x120.6mm). It's very close and some people say they work just fine.
