Im ralking about the highth diff, there is about a 1.5in difference between the carpet and floor

Factory floors are nicely painted, unless you wanted to change color just dont see a reason to do anything.

POR15, chip guard paint seems to be the most common.

With my power plans I do not care about counting to the VERY LAST pound. So I am doing POR15 with thin black carpet to make it not so...stripped? It is a daily after all.
