For the 7 years I've owned my car, I've done all the work myself. It got me through my last years of college and through my first years of work. It was finally retired to track and weekend duty a couple years ago.
This last weekend was one of her finest moments to date. On Friday I drove 45 miles to attend a track day at Pacific Raceways, and after shedding some rubber and throwing some brake dust, drove her home. I did a little running around over the weekend, changed the oil, flushed the brake fluid. Come Sunday, I drove 320 miles down to Oregon Raceway Park for yet another track day on Monday, and then proceeded to have her sing to me at redline repeatedly.

Obligatory video of a novice's first day on a technical track.
I then drove her home. Her engine has over 300K miles, with only a half a head rebuild to her name. At the end of those four days she had pulled off around 200 miles on track, with 1027 miles driven in total. I love this car.
