Interior & Guage Cluster Picture Thread.

At the point in my build where i'm doing the "finishing" touches.

Curious how you guy's have your interiors and guage clusters set up for "Track/Hooning" duty. Didn't see a thread like this in the past, so figured it'd be a good idea to start one.

    Thanks!

I bought it from jaywood (in the For Sale section)

I like what you did with the carpet
It's actually left over from a cheap roll I bought from Lowes to cover the subwoofer box in my DD.

Very cool thread. Id like to move my 325e in the direction of being a DD light duty autox car. Will be checking back here for ideas.

Not so much a track car but for peace of mind I went with this, which seems relevant:

The "pod" isn't tightened down in this pic but I'm still in process of a couple installations at the same time.

Parker Performance has a variety of ashtray and other solutions. I'm running VDO vision oil pressure & temperature gauges, 12v port on the passenger end of the pod.

My E30 is just an HPDE car for now, but seats with Vac floor mounts, custom rollbar and harnesses will go in over the winter. Here is my guage setup:

I used Autometer mechanical gauges as I wanted really accurate readings. The pod is Autometer as well. I also have a oil and water low pressure light setup and a shift light. So far, I have been pleased with the setup. - AB

I take the radio out at the track, but like having it for the 2-hour drive to get there...

I'll post some pics of mine as it sits tomorrow. Using stock cluster for now with digital gauges where the radio was. Fixed back seats mounted on stock sliders and back half spec-e30 cage. Trying to get some Carbon door cards!

Next step for me is going to be something like this (but with small AIM dash instead of traqmate)
