    E30 autocross - STX

Can the e30 chassis be competitive in STX?

I know there is a thread on this topic already.
Turner is more of an E30 M3 site than just plain E30s.
There was a guy who ran an E30 M3 in STU I think. It did ok.

In STU/STX, the E30 will get outgunned by newer, modern cars. Especially E36/E46's, the boost buggy STI's and Evo's, the RX8.. it's a tough class for these old cars.

I just ran my E30 M3 in STX and i would say with Wh33lhop driving it, it was very competitive. But the e30 is far out gunned by modern cars, in power and geometry. We were running on worn-out R1As and crap ebay coilovers.
          Much wow

Kind of what I thought. I know we're (Turner) more of an e30 M3 shop and not even those anymore.

Guess I'm building this car for me again then :)

Chris Conant placed 19th in his e30 m3 at nat's last year. Doug Hitchcock his codrive placed 33rd. Thats the fastest e30 chassis in STX that I have seen.
