    Shorter seat belt receptacle?

I just installed a Sparco Evo 2 Seat on top of a Sparco 600 series floor mount adapter. I also have the Schroth quick fit pro belt system. The issue I'm running into is that the 600 seat bracket has a mount for the receptacle, but the receptacle is too long to allow the belt to go through the slot on the side of the seat. I could go over the top of the seat, but this is not very idea... Is there any way to get a shorter receptacle?

I have the same issue. I have some rear seat belts (actual belt material, not the stiff cable like on the front) that I'm going to try. I'll let you know if that works.

Yeah, I just took one of the leftover rear seat buckles and used it. Works fine.

So, I tried one of the rears today but it was too long for my setup. If I had longer seat rails so that it would mount further back I suppose it would work. I bought a E36 rear receiver like these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E36-M3-O...b28325&vxp=mtr) off ebay. I'll have to bend the metal strap but that should be OK. I'll let you know how this works.

That looks like a good solution, I actually bought a seat belt extender like this https://www.seatbeltextenderpros.com...belt-extender/ and bolted it to the floor mount bracket with success. What are your thoughts on this? it works fine, and it's made to run in line with an OEM seatbelt, so it should be strong enough?

Looks to me like it would be OK.
