Aren't Miatas lug centric? 54.1mm center bore is too small, though I guess us E30 guys would need adapters anyway.

I got Ryan and Bill Cardiff of FM hooked up, so they changed the design a bit and have a group buy for a 8" and 9" wheel. But of course, Miata offsets.

Perfect, 2 more sets I don't have to buy! I'd be interested in working through some fitment details with you and seeing if we can't get something started to put together a 15x10 group buy assuming Jongbloed would be interested.
even a 15x9 track wheel in e30 fitment, I think theres a lot of guys here who could put that to use in STX locally.

I assume your e30 is the light blue one with Joefis aero? car looked awesome at the Toledo Pro solo! I was running the miata and wishing my e30 was ready.

Yes, that's the one. It got graphics after Toledo, so looks much better now :)

Thus far I think the thread has established that very few people on r3v use the 6ul because the offsets are so bad for the e30. which I think after re-reading through this somewhat confusing thread for a 4th time is what Z31's main goal was?

So with that understanding I've created a new thread here, to help gauge the interest in a wide track fitment e30 specific wheel:

I think if you're going to post intended prices you should probably speak with Jongbloed. A 15x10 will need a new mold and cost would be unknown by me.

Also refer to post #44 in this thread. You guys convince him it should be a 15x9 instead of a 15x8 (which I agree, plenty of 8" choices that will fit an E30).

And it just seems like its hard to really get 9's to fit on a 225/50 w/o a lot of fender work , if at all...I dont want to run a 225/45....too short.

Have you test fitted those sizes you mention? 225/50 fits pretty easily with minor fender rolling assuming you aren't completely slammed past reasonable handling levels.

the downside to fitting 225/50/15 is there are no sticky tires in that size unless you go straight to slicks, meanwhile there are several options in 225/45/15 that are in the ultra sticky street tire category

I can understand a desire for better quality control, but my experience tells me that even the high dollar wheels still fail at it (see my broken Keizers, several friends broken CCWs) I would still be interested in another 15x10 option that would fit our cars. The TRMs have terrible quality control. There are numerous pics of the back of the spokes being as much as 1/16" different in clearance.

I did not want to go there..

Jongbloed quality is top shelf.
