+2 though. I hit a cone at the very beginning kink and the final slalom, though it doesn't seem like it in those areas to me.
Wow that's to bad about the mustang!

Nice driving in the fiesta, damn close to some of those cones. Hello understeer! A co-worker of mine has a fiesta ST and has nothing but good things to say about it and he's coming from an AP2 S2000.

Here's my best from yesterday at El Toro

S2000s and Miatas completely dominate my local groups. I'm sure that's a universal trend. For a reason.

Also, that course is so long. I'm so jealous.

I'll have the vid of last weekends event up soon, but I screen captured this... I think this is what they mean by getting behind the cone in slaloms!

Have you driven one or are you just going to adapt internet rando's complaints that they don't understeer? :) That car was putty in my hands literally as soon as I hopped into it. But I'm also not afraid of a truly neutral handling car.

Grab a beer dude. I was making fun of the guy in the video, S2000's are awesome.

Lool. Apologies; the internet has a lot of people convinced that that car will automatically spin when you hit the gas. And yeah that dude was terrible. I'll just shift lock in the middle of a cornerOHNOWHATHAPPENED!?

Here's one from today. Took 1st in SM, and 1st in overall Modified. This was my last run, and put me ahead of my NEMESIS in a 300+ whp STi running 285 Hoosiers by 0.076 seconds. This was such a tough battle and required a lot of effort. We were never more than 0.2 seconds apart and both dropping time every run. I've taken the class win at several events, but this was by far the closest and most rewarding.

Damn nice driving in that run. Good to see you guys utilizing crows landing. Guessing that was an AP1 since you had to go down into 1st a couple times.

For autocross S2000's are great/competitive cars. NC mx5's can be just as fast in STR, but the S2000 is still the better looking car.

Nice! That course looked fun. Are you still running j-stock setup? What rates are they?

Yeah, I'm still running J-stock. The fronts are a progressive 900lb (ish) and the rears are a little over 1000lb. They feel amazing, and surprisingly aren't terrible on the street. I sure as hell wouldn't DD them, but driving to and from events isn't too bad.

This is a great example of what happens when you spend an "entire ROOKIE year at the track" without any proper instruction... you just make the same mistakes over and over and over.

I don't post much but I should since I basically have a very heavy E30. I've been driving a minimally prepped STX 318ti the past year. Only done 7 events with the car in various states of prep so I'm still learning it.

My rear subframe bushings have major cracks in them. My RTABs are also gone since my toe L/R is 0.22/0.08 and really messing with my tire wear. I gotta see how I can fix that while still staying within STX rules.

                            Now a 318ti

Welcome, you've come to the right place. I've not had a chance to watch the video yet but iirc stx allows you to replace oe rubber bushings with polly.

Yeah you pretty much end up practicing the wrong way of doing something over and over. It's a good thing that track has lots of places to go off with out hitting anything. Whats interesting about the video is trying to figure out what he did wrong for each spin. I didn't watch the whole thing but a majority of them seem to be caused by lifting off the throttle and unloading the rear of the car early to mid corner. You can't take speed away in a turn but you can always add it.
