    Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park

Hey guys, here is a quick video of the new Thompson course. I was there this past week with the Boston chapter cca.

*I am not by any means an expert driver. This was my first time here and first time solo. Please resist the urge to troll haha.

My overall impression of the track is great. I don't think it was boring at all. It is very similar to NHMS. Everyone was saying its an "autocrosser's track". The pavement was very smooth excluding the circle track and the transitions to and from it. The run off areas are not the best. There was a lot of gravel being kicked up. I definitely plan on going back this year. I really enjoyed the track.

I think its the 07 wheel. Love it.

I run a water temp gage in place of the obc.

As for the speed, That's still something I am working on and will hopefully come to me as I get more experience.

This is amazing! Who's got events scheduled for this place already, scca and bmwcca right now? Any others?

The elevation changes look nice and sure not something an autocrosser would know anything about especially when your road disappears out from underneath you. Going into the oval looked really bumpy. Did they say why you can't go on the bank? Afraid you'll mess up the groove?

That's sick I've wanted to get my bike on the track all summer but funds are keeping me sidelined

I know nasa, com, NE track days, and scda1 are all going. We were playing around with the banking vs flat. Flat made up a lot of ground and the banking was just fun haha I think ths general consensus was 50/50 bank and apron flr fastest line. If you watch the porsche video above mine you can see me get passed lol and the z4m video by onehotlap.com was my instructor.
