is there a point where there is too much caster on an e30? I always recommend max caster possible too most people but with my camber/caster plates and e30 m3 style bushings I'm pushing 11 degrees with room to go. I've never seen anybody recommend a maximum setting. I was wondering if I should go further than that or will it hurt my turn in?

The more castor, the more the wheel will move up and down when turned dramatically affecting corner weights.Comment

Depends on how much the car leans when you corner hard. Caster is to keep the contact patch level with the ground when the wheels are turned and the car is leaning. If you're running super stiff springs and really low profile tires, all you're gonna do with that much caster is lose grip and make the car understeer.Comment

caster should only affect wheel STABILITY, camber will affect tire temps and the contact surface on the road.
which are you most worried about?
I would assume camber. but I see caster written around a lot

Caster is dynamic camber. The more you turn your wheel the more camber you add.
It also affects wheel self centering at speed.
Weight jacking means the front of the car will start to "fall" when you turn the wheel and past a certain steering angle the wheel will want to turn itself further. Also will affect dynamic corner weighting as Lorin noted.paint sucksComment

Get the camber setting you want, and maximize caster for that setting. If you can get more than 10 degrees at your desired camber, then I'd stop around there.Comment
