The chubby at the front desk has no interest in stopping you from leaving jack stand marks in the pavement.

At Putnam there's only the 3-4 shift on the straight and then back into 3rd after turn 1, so you're not doing a whole lot of shifting anyways. It would still be good fun in an auto.

some people use 4th all the way around ;) except for 7.

but yeah, i typically only shift once during a lap. (riding top of 3rd or staying in fourth most of the lap)

I have done that track in both auto and stick cars. Manual FTW, but still quite fun with the autotragic.

If I get the turn one right, I can stay on 4th all the way till turn 7. If I mess up turn one, then I just leave it in 3rd gear. Btw, this is with Toyo RA1's, Bilsteins, Eibachs, 3.73 and JimC's - your mileage/speed might vary :D

Approximately how much speed do you carry through 1 and 4?

I stayed home - my duaghter had an all-star baseball game today - althought hey did not win, she played well. Much more important than a DE.

Here is some other dude - doing his usual thing, losing it.
