AutoX a vert?

Been at least 10 years since I last road or AutoX raced. And then it was with a hopped up prelude coupe.

Anyway now that I find myself in an e30 I know I can't road race without a roll bar setup, which I don't want to do. But can I AutoX?

I would look at the rules for whatever event you plan to run but if it's SCCA I think you can run a vert without a bar but I think the guy I'm thinking of did have a hardtop on at the time...

SCCA rules require a roll bar or qualifying hard top. I looked into it when I bought my vert. Most HPDE will be the same, but probably requiring harnesses as well.

you can autocross a cabrio, I have in mine. No track stuff though
