there is a lot of grip on the table for me to explore (first time using r comp). I only ran them for 1 session because it rained that day and first session I was trying to improve my time on street tire. I did not get an alignment before this trackday, I actually added quite a bit more camber and left toe alone the night before. The car was very twitchy. I increased my ride height in the rear 0.25" to clear the fender, because I need to pull the fender more to run at the ride height I would like. Rear fenders are hard to massage.
I saw many people taking photos from this weekend and will share them once I find them on the internets! Be warned, theres a bit of mexipoke going on up front
I spoke to a TR rep about a month ago and he told me that the were discontinued, HOWEVER that is not the case. They are scheduled for a late March / early April arrival at TR. You can call and pre-order a set right now.
You can pre-order them through Rudy at Tire Rack 800-428-8355 Ext 4664. Your card will be charged when they ship.
So very meaty. What size tire did you end up going with, Rocco?
I found an amazing deal on 245/40r15 Hoosier R6's that I couldn't pass up. The good news is that I'll try 275's when these are finished, so then we'll have data and everyone can berate each other some more.
