E30 320i Baby 6 race car season prep.

Posting here for my brother in New Zealand who has an e30 2.0 liter baby 6 spec race car. He has some questions.......

Need some recommendations for replacement coil (oil filled), dizzy cap & rotor and plug leads to maximize performance.

OE is pretty much the best for all those parts. BMW did not use junk parts, you can't improve performance by maintenance.

They were waiting on the diagnostics from the leak down test. Hp was down significantly from stock on the dyno. I think they are looking at a rebuild. Waiting for my brother to take this thread over. He can update on the visit to the shop today.

        Ok..Here now. Thanks Dan.

Basically my issue is not enough HP...The car had been sitting for 18mths before we got it and dyno'd at 88hp before timing and AFM adjustments to get 107. Given they should be around 129 out of the factory I need to find 20hp from somewhere...I've had a comp and leak down test done and they range between 145-155psi & 2-8%.

I'm open to suggestions as to where I might find another 20hp...
