We used them, we modified it slightly (adding a diagonal between the halo at the driver's head to the passenger's backstay end) and re-did the doors a fair bit. As other have said, it isn't a slap-in and requires a good amount of work, but less work than starting from scratch. My team did cage design and building from scratch before on other projects which helped and as Axxe said, we next time might do things differently as well. But, given the time to install our pre-bent cage and the amount of learning involved... it might have been the best thing to do on our first build.
One thing we missed that has been mentioned around here before is tying the backstays to the rear spring locations instead of on the rear wheel wells but oh well. If you can CAD it up and post, you can get feedback on any modifications to a standard setup, as people do on LeMons board.
