dead pedal w/ tracking in mind

......finally found a fabricator willing to do a take off on the RD dead pedal. I made some angle changes, length changes etc.......it cost way too much but it feels great and should come in handy. The oe pad is STYROFOAM( really)and not hi enough. Finished it off w/ SS carriage bolts and some grip tape.............should be worth a couple of seconds!!!!

Try running with one, and you'll notice a big difference - that is if it is up from the floor like Joel has shown here.

when you say the "stock one" I laugh a bit....its only a minute step up and made of styrofoam!!!!!!! My z3 coupe has a true oe rubber foot rest.


The ht is your call...personal choice. It would vary in a street car for cruising vs a track car where you want a true foot brace...not rest.

Looks nice. I'm tall enough, and sit close enough, that I just use the firewall. The factory dead pedal is long gone.
