I see. I'm just trying to do the same thing and keep the temperatures down. One of the biggest challenges in running ducting from my velocity stack is the frame where the hood latch is located. It's directly behind the headlight, so it seems like the only way to get a duct around it is to use a flexible duct like Scat or Skeet duct. -
Thanks for the compliments guys. It's been a lot of work to get the car in this condition.
Yes, I did make the splitter. The splitter itself is currently made of wood. I want to make sure size and shape are right before I go through making a fiberglass one. If I can lose the front valence and bumper to reduce weight I may just stick with the wood, because it's easy to replace, strong, and resists abuse.Leave a comment:

Rocco - are you using a 3.5" MAF? If so, do you have any more pictures? I ask because I've been doing a lot of experimenting with my intake, with a setup very similar to yours...Leave a comment:

Figured I'd throw up a couple pics of mine. Unfortunately I don't have any of it moving.

My SE30 at Thunderhill last month (April 2014), we ran the track backwards getting air in Turn 5 at about 72 MPH. We had a field of 25 cars.
