Here's our NorCal SpecE30 group back in May 2011 at Thunderhill Raceway, Willows CA We've fielded as many as 33 cars in a race. This year (2014) we're averaging about 23 cars per race weekend.

    NASA NorCal SpecE30 Series Director

It's directly behind the headlight, so it seems like the only way to get a duct around it is to use a flexible duct like Scat or Skeet duct.

I have flexible ducting right now. The cool part about the stack that I have is that it barely fits in the headlight hole, and it is too big to come out through the grill, so it just stays where it needs to be without a bracket or something else to hold it in place. In the future (when I put my supercharger on there) I plan on ditching the stock radiator support for a custom tube frame up there so I have space to keep my velocity stack and more room for an intercooler.

Matt, good to see you too. I'll snap a couple more photos when I get a chance and share them.

Hey Rocco, good to see you here! I was the other e30 down at CMP on Memorial Day. You should post some detail pics of some of the stuff you showed me like your battery relocation. For those who haven't seen it in person, Rocco has a seriously well done car.
